Marketing
We run the club's communication and visual identity, so that the research coming out of Asset Management, Investment Banking and Quantitative Trading actually reaches the people it was written for.
A real project
TIC Journal, 1st Semester 2025/26
May 2026Marketing brought research from Asset Management, Investment Banking and Quantitative Trading together in the latest TIC Journal, applying the club's editorial structure and visual identity across the publication.
What does a week look like?
- The team meets once a week to set priorities and review each member's work, agreeing what moves forward and who owns each piece.
- Between meetings members write copy, design assets for events and campaigns, and produce content for Instagram and LinkedIn, always inside the club's visual identity and always with team feedback before publishing.
- The work rotates by design: a member writing a post one week may be laying out an article the next. During recruitment the team works alongside Human Capital so the campaign matches the real process.
What does the team ship?
- Content for Instagram and LinkedIn: posts, stories and campaigns carrying the club's work and events.
- Graphic material for events, and the recruitment campaign, built with Human Capital.
- The design and layout of the semestral TIC Journal, which brings the research from all three analytical departments into one publication.
What would you build first?
Your first project is a concrete, bounded piece of real content: a social media post or the formatting of an article for publication. You work inside the existing visual identity, receive feedback from the team and take the piece through to a publishable result.
Is this you?
This team suits flexible people with a genuine willingness to learn. An interest in design, social media, writing or events is a good starting point, but no previous experience in any of these areas is required. What matters most is motivation, curiosity and the readiness to try different formats and improve with feedback.
Which teams are most similar?
Marketing is the bridge between the technical work produced inside the club and the outside world. The team translates research, results and achievements into clear, appealing content and is responsible for the club's visibility and growth.
- vs Human Capital →
- Both teams work across the whole club and coordinate closely during recruitment. Marketing owns the public story, the visual result and the campaign that reaches candidates. Human Capital owns the people process, from applications and onboarding to member feedback.
Translating work you did not do
Everything Marketing publishes was produced by someone else: a fund's results, a stock pitch, a trading strategy. The job is to understand it well enough to explain it to a student who has never opened a valuation, without flattening what made it worth publishing. That is why the team reads the whole club's output before anyone outside does.
